Peek-A-Zoo Underwater

Happy Wednesday!

Today I would like to introduce to you ‘Peek-a-Zoo Underwater: Toddler Peekaboo in an Ocean Aquarium’ which is an app that you can download for only $2.99 on ITunes! I LOVE this app! It introduces us (toddlers, duh!) to the underwater world (so, I can further explore my fascination with the underwater world!) and guess what?! It’s multilingual! You can learn animal names in French, Spanish, Italian, German and English (I’m learning German).

Open iTunes to buy and download apps here.

Toddler Talk: Fall Season

Happy Fall, Everyone!

photoSeptember is widely known as the unofficial beginning of autumn, my very favorite time of year! My parents and I enjoy the changing colors of the leaves, the smell of cinnamon and apple pies!

To kick off the fall season my friends and family visited the Richardson Farm in Spring Grove, IL over the weekend! It was so much fun! We watched a pig race, enjoyed ourselves at a pumpkin patch, went on a hay ride and did a corn maze!

Below you’ll find my Fall Bucket List:

  •     Visit a farm
  •     Apple picking
  •     Enjoy a fall hike
  •     Collect leaves
  •     Make s’mores
  •     Visit the pumpkin patch
  •     Attend a parade
  •     Go camping
  •     Bake a yummy fall treat
  •     Enjoy some apple cider
  •     Rake & jump in the leaves
  •     Go on a hay ride
  •     Do a corn maze
  •     Paint and carve pumpkins
  •     Roast pumpkin seeds
  •     Give thanks

Happy Fall!

Greetings From Apple Holler

Let’s pick some apples!

Over the weekend my parents took me to Apple Holler in Wisconsin (yes, we crossed the border!) to immerse ourselves in some good old-fashioned farm fun! Oh, and fun I had! My parents let me pick my very first apples in the orchard, I sat on a tractor (!) and I worked my way through the 2-and-a-half acre Johnny Appleseed Maze!

At Apple Holler, I also got to experience more interaction with some farm animals, from a hand-led pony ride (I didn’t ride the pony obviously ‘cuz you know – I’m scared – but I pet the pony this time!), a petting zoo (I fed the goats – hooray!) and we even went for a hayride!

I truly had the best time!

PS: Mommy and daddy promised me that we’ll be back soon to pick some pears (my favorites!)! Yum!

What are your weekend adventures?

Fruits for Toddlers

Toss out the junk food and start making snack time fun again!

Fruits are good for you and for us! You can’t go wrong exposing your child to fruits! It’s delicious and provides us with important vitamins. My favorite fruits are apples, bananas and grapes.

Make eating healthy fun this summer by cutting it into fun shapes with a cookie cutter and making kabobs with your favorite fruit! I promise that your tot(s) will love it!
