Take them mini golfing!

My parents and I went mini golfing at ‘Lighthouse Golf‘ over the weekend! Located next to Shirl’s Dive-In and behind the clubhouse arcade, are 18 holes of the most challenging and entertaining mini golf in Lake County.

I had so much fun mini golfing, and let me tell you: The mini golf course is a delight for the eyes, too! It features beautiful scenes, fountains and waterfalls!

Toddlers are free, adults are $5 per person.

Happy Golfing!

The Importance Of Family Time

Happily Ever Laughter!

With today’s busy lifestyles, many parents or even grandparents forget about the importance of spending quality time with their (grand-) children.

“Quality time” is based on love and care; it is spent focusing attention on the other person and sharing thoughts and feelings.

I love spending quality time with my parents. They are awesome! They don’t shy away to expose me to as many different things as possible and I know that I am loved unconditionally. Toddlers like me are very easy to understand, really.

The ‘cry’ of a toddler is like, “Love me for who I am, not for what I do. Love me, even when I am naughty because I need you”.

That doesn’t mean that you have to approve of everything we do, but be understanding and loving even when we misbehave. You know – we’re young and don’t always understand everything.

Your time, acceptance, love and care means the world to us – provide us with all four and you’ll have the happiest toddler(s) around!

Mother Son Relationship

It has been known for centuries that mothers and sons share a special bond.

Do you wonder if a mother’s relationship with her son is all that different than her relationship with her daughter?

Well, the old adage “like father, like son” needs a bit correcting, if you ask me. How about “like mother, like son”? For the mother-son connection determines to a great extent not only what sons think about themselves but also what they think about women in general. You’ve heard of the saying that the “best way to determine the quality of a man is to evaluate his relationship with his mother”. Here you have it…

My mommy and I share a very special bond with each other.

My relationship with my mom is based on consistency, patience, and emotional closeness, which are important for all babies (and is the same process for boys and girls). Yet I am both very attached to my mom and my dad. I feel very secure and loved from both of them.

But saying that mothers shouldn’t keep their sons close is nonsense because it is a fact that moms who keep their sons close are setting them up for success later in life, both in personal relationships and at work.

This being said – mommies (and daddies), continue to love us and “baby us” because you can never love us too much, right?

Let the love shine!
